I’M HIS GIRL!

You wonder how I know?

His love for me shows that I’m His.  

You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:14 

At my tender age I never doubted my worthiness, I found so much joy in lightening up any room I entered just with my present, however as I grew up I discovered the unfair, unpleasant, insatiable standards set by the society that made me question my value.  

But then, either science or this verse proves me that I’m unique and preciously made. The Creator of the whole universe breathed life into me. With the soul I’m eternal and with the spirit I’m divine. He knows me intimately – my personality, my emotions, the way my mind works, etc. He will guide me tenderly to embrace the life to which He has called me. And He himself reveals this to me every day through his word.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:18-19

First of all my life is founded in the everlasting love of God!

It is this love that I see through people on my path – parents, siblings, and friends that lifts me to live out the calling upon my life.

A little testimony – I often share how wonderful my dad is; he is how I feel God’s presence in my life. Ever since I can remember, he has always made me feel worthy and capable of overcoming any challenge I set my mind to. Even now, as an adult, he cherishes me like a baby and ensures that I know I can always count on him. When it is raining, he calls me and offers to pick me up wherever I am. There’s not a single moment when I need him that he doesn’t show up.

It fills me up with the fullness of God. How marvellous it is to get to share this love with one another – God’s love living in and flowing through us all!

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. – Colossians 3:23-24

He has given me the ability to flourish in whatever I do. Of course I fail, of course I back-off when confronted with challenges, however, I’m not allowed to stay on the ground. I work hard, dream big, and pursue my ambition, because I’m on service for the Lord Christ. That’s why he strengthens and inspires me to do great things. I know I shall achieve it all in His name.

As long as I am faithful and obedient to God, I’m receiving an inheritance from the Lord and I’m storing up treasures in heaven for myself. And that knowledge liberates all the set-backs that I may encounter. As a woman of God, I know that God is using my life in amazing ways to reach that soul in the cold, to perform that task for His glory!

What you have hidden from the wise and learned, you have revealed to little ones. – Matthew 11:25

I keep thinking to myself that I’m not good enough, unqualified, inarticulate, that people won’t believe me. So when the anxiety almost consumes me, this verse reminds me of Jonah, Gideon, Moses, and Nehemiah. God has chosen me to fulfil His work and mission. As Mary said, He cast down the mighty from their thrones, and lifts up the lowly.

Therefore fear and doubt should not interfere with the strength and confidence that the Lord has equipped me with to conquer the challenges each day brings.

God knows, by using my weakness, that’s way his discreteness is shown. I hold on to it faithfully, preciously because the voice is always in the back of my mind: how did I get here? Let me not dwell on my own strength/understanding, I might mess it up next, so let me remain awake and focused because this is not my own work.

To know You well is complete justice, and to know your might is the root of immortality. – Wisdom 15:3

The Lord my shepherd reveal himself to me. My dignity comes from knowing that I’m chosen by the Most High. It doesn’t make me superior, but I find content in knowing that my life has a foundation, therefore, I got reasons to worship Him, and to be still, for He’ll fight for me. It is an honor to be called a woman of God and as I humble myself before God He graciously bestows His strength and courage upon me.

An incredible calling is to be a daughter of the King, living each day with confidence, faith, and humility as a godly woman who seek to reflect the glory of God in all I say and do.

You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” (Isaiah 62:3)

By honoring God’s word and keeping his commandments at heart, now I’m living a testimony of God’s goodness from the moment I let myself to be guided by Jesus Christ my Savior. He never fails to love me despite.

Recently I was having a conversation with a friend of mine and he said something that is profuse about faith. He said God is willing to do us good, but the only way is to pull what God planned for us from the spiritual world to the physical world through faith. “My prayer is the vessel that connects the spiritual world to the physical world, my faith is the active force that pulls my blessings from the spiritual world into the manifestation.” He said. Otherwise we’ll remain in the misery of the world.

God Himself says in the Hebrews 11:6 that we must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. that’s the only way to please him and that’s how he carries out what he has said upon us.

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” (John 15:15) 

We give one another this love on the basis of Christ who calls us his friends. God is love by nature!

There’s a sort of fierceness to the care friends exhibit in our lives, and it’s one I can testify about. There are tragedies we must walk through in this life, and everytime I feel the force of God’s love in their actions. In every circumstance I see the person whom God put on my path to ease the road – a hand that helps to carry on. Friends who chose not to leave my side when things look the bleakest, and celebrate my triumph as their own.  

God can grant us real enjoyment in our friends in every season because he has done a wonderful thing in uniquely making them, calling them, gifting them, and letting us partake in their lives. The beautiful thing is that when it’s real, when the intentions align, when everybody allow themselves to be authentic, it becomes unbreakable and the cup never runs dry, because you both have overflowing love to pour in each other’s life.

For your strength does not depend on numbers, nor your might on the powerful. But you are the God of the lowly, helper of the oppressed, upholder of the weak, protector of the forsaken, saviour of those without hope”. Judith 9:11

God has never forsaken me in trying times, I find refuge in Him. Everyday He gives me with reasons to trust in Him. His Spirit enables me to live victoriously over the worldly rewards. Nothing shakes the peace I find waiting on God. When the time is right, He exalt my head above the enemies who surround me.

My soul flourishes when I count my blessings. I can testify the work of His hands.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. – Proverbs 31:30

Being a woman of God is based on seeking God first. I’ve come to realize that the more I disconnect myself from the world, the closer i get to Him, walking in intimacy with Him, obeying His commands, submitting to His discipline with the way I live my life. I cannot probably put in words how every other detail of my life falls into place when I keep a firm faith in Jesus Christ, longing to reflect Him in all I say and do. Nothing else matters other than dwelling in the place of the Lord and knowing that I am His.
